Welcome Our New Investment Committee Member Rose Carpenter

We are thrilled to announce that Rose Carpenter has joined the Foundation for MetroWest’s Investment Committee, led by Chair John DeSisto, CIO of the Yawkey Foundation. This committee serves as a steward of our endowment and oversees our investment portfolio.

Rose is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Wellesley College and has served in various roles since joining in September 2009. She was previously an associate at HarbourVest Partners where she focused on U.S. primary partnership investments, and a consultant at Investor Group Services (IGS) in Boston.

Rose received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where she graduated as an Edward Tuck Scholar with Distinction. Rose is a resident of Wellesley and is active in the community.

“We are excited about Rose’s expertise and the unique perspectives that she brings to the committee. This is a critical role, and we are honored that Rose has joined us,” said Jay Kim, Executive Director of the Foundation for MetroWest.
