Emergency Funds
As we emerge from the intensity of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Foundation is shifting its focus to recovery and rebuilding through our annual competitive grant programs. We will continue to utilize our emergency relief funds as available for any pressing, emergent needs in our communities in the areas of :
- Food Insecurity
- Homelessness and Housing Insecurity
- Critical Mental Health Issues
- Community Safety, including Vaccine Equity
If you are a 501c3 organization serving the MetroWest region and have an emergent COVID-related funding need, please email [email protected] to determine your eligibility and fit.

FAQs for Donors
How can I Give?
You may give online; send a check to Foundation for MetroWest (note if it is for the MW Emergency Fund or the Feed Framingham Fund on the check), 3 Eliot Street, Natick, MA 01760; or make a gift of securities and other assets by contacting Mary Crowley.
Can I make a grant from an existing donor-advised fund into an Emergency Fund?
Yes. Anyone can make a grant from a donor-advised fund to these emergency funds. If you have a donor-advised fund at the Foundation, you can log into Donor Central to make a fund transfer, or contact Mary Crowley if you have questions. If you have a donor-advised fund at another institution, you can recommend a grant from that fund to the Foundation for MetroWest and note if your gift is for the “MW Emergency Relief Fund” or the “Feed Framingham Fund” in the purpose language.
How much of my donation will go directly to organizations working to support vulnerable populations in MetroWest?
One hundred percent.
I have more questions. Who can I contact?
