Feed Framingham COVID-19 Fund Grant Guidelines

In partnership with the City of Framingham and Framingham Public Schools, the Foundation for MetroWest is proud to offer this responsive grant program as part of the Feed Framingham COVID-19 Fund. This fund will provide critical financial support to nonprofit organizations who are helping to ensure access to food and basic hygiene necessities to vulnerable populations across the city.

This rolling grant program is aimed at funding organizations who are working to address access to food and basic hygiene products as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will consider general operating requests related to your priority needs.

Grants of up to $5,000 will be considered and awarded on a rolling basis as funds are available.

Requests must come from designated 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations providing authentic food access or basic hygiene products to vulnerable Framingham residents.

Requests for funding will be reviewed one time per week by Foundation staff, including input from a small group of MetroWest funders. Please expect a response within 5-7 business days.

All requests must be submitted through the Foundation’s grant system, Foundant. To complete your request:

  1. Log into or create your Foundant account. See a brief tutorial on how to create an account here.
  2. Once logged into the system, select “Apply” in the upper-left hand corner. Find and select the “COVID-19 Emergency Relief” grant process.
  3. Complete and submit a brief request.

For questions regarding eligibility, the grant process, or tech assistance please email us.
